In this discussion based session, we invite teachers to explore the issue of global plastic pollution. We will explore the power of AI systems through activities and dilemmas centered around the ethics involved in labour, consumption and technology.

Matthew Griffin is the Senior Programs Manager at Kids Code Jeunesse, bringing in-classroom workshops to students and professional development workshops to teachers across Canada. Matthew studied Art & Technology at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has been an educator of one, the other, or both, ever since.
